he took my face in his arms
and scanned
its just his look which spoke a thousand words of love
before I could discern
he pulled me closer
i could feel his breath over my face
i was quivering
those pearls conceived in my heart
born out of my eyes
rolling down my cheeks
how can i be harsh?
