Sometimes curled–up bun
Sometimes curled-down pony
It is silky and soft when the sun goes up
Soft and silky when the sun goes down
Not messed up in my beauty sleep
Color streaks, love them as they peep
I am the girl with the long, curly tresses
Braids, buns, pony, plaits
Twisted, tangled, bundled or muddled
All styles should be healthy in the puddle
Pinned, clipped, brushed or permmed
Whatever be the style, I have it crowned
One look, one touch, I would want to feel it as much
Oh Dove! I should thank you a bunch
